Driving Music - The Day Noite Americana…

Driving Music is the brainchild of a man from Brazil taking on the solo career. Fabio Andrade, formerly of punk band The Invisibles, has branched off on his own since the break-up to form Driving Music. The first EP demo consisted of songs that had a classic pop-punk feel to it, the kind of sound you don’t hear in bands today. The new EP has directed the sound a different direction, but there is much progress and maturity involved. Instead of the upbeat pop-punk, you have a more indie/folk sound that is still very upbeat. The music is easy to associate with what you think of when you think of Brazil: beaches, tides on the shore, sunshine, relaxing on a porch. This music is so laid back and easy going, it’s hard not to enjoy. AND, there’s even a cover of “Apartment Story” by The National. Can’t go wrong with this, and look forward to more from Driving Music.
